Tour Itinerary

Day1: Basrah 

Arrival at Basrah International Airport, meet and greet with our tour guide, visit the notable churches in Basrah city, optional evening tour. Hotel and overnight.

Day2: Basrah – Dhi Qar (Ur) – Karbala’a

After Breakfast, head to Dhi Qar and visit Chibayesh Marshlands, Ibraham House and Abrahamian new church, continue to Karbala’a. Hotel and overnight.

Day3: Karbala’a - Babylon - Baghdad

After breakfast, visit Al-Aqiser Church in karbala’a, then head to Babylon and visit Babylon ancient city, Ibraham shrine in Birs Nimrud, Kifl town (to see the tomb of Ezekiel) continue to Baghdad. Hotel and Overnight.

Day4: Baghdad

After Breakfast, go to Mada’ain city in Baghdad and visit Ctesiphon and Church of Beth Kokheh which was the First Patriarchal Sea of the Church of the East, Baghdad city tour including some of the notable Churches in Baghdad, hotel and overnight.

Day5: Baghdad

After Breakfast, visit Latin Church of St. Joseph, the Syriac Catholic Church of Sydat al Nejat, Armenian Church Sourp Asdvadzadin- Holy Mother of God, Armenian Church of St. Gregory and St George's Church. Hotel and overnight

Day6: Baghdad – Mosul

After breakfast, head to Mosul, on the way visit Mar Behnam and Sarah Monastery, visit Restored Churches, including Church of St. George. Hotel and overnight

Day7: Mosul – Nineveh Plains – Duhok

After breakfast, Visit the Nineveh Plains, a region steeped in Christian history, head to Mount alfaf to explore Mar Mattai Monastery, continue to Dohuk, free time in the evening. Hotel and overnight.

Day8: Duhok – Alqosh – Erbil

After breakfast, visit Rabban Hormizd Monastery in Alqosh, an iconic pilgrimage site, explore the Christian town of Alqosh, continue to Erbil, farewell dinner. Hotel and overnight.

Day9: Erbil – Departure

After breakfast, free time for last-minute souvenirs, transfer to Erbil International Airport for departure
